Dr Hemant K. Kalyan is one of Bangalore top Consultants in Orthopedic surgery & Sports Medicine. He has been one of the city pioneers in advanced arthroscopic surgery and the scientific treatment and rehabilitation of sports injuries, and has been practising at Bangalore since June 1993. His areas of special interest and expertise include minimally invasive surgery and joint replacements. , He conceptualized and established OSSICARE, a specialty clinic devoted to the assessment and treatment of Orthopaedic conditions and Sports Injuries, in January 2004. This outpatient facility provides a comprehensive range of professional services in a patient friendly environment. Since its inception, an excess of 8,500 people have availed of the services on offer. He completed his medical graduation from Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Bombay, in April 1985 and went on to do his postgraduate studies and residency training in Orthopaedics at the same institution. He was awarded gold medals at the MS and D.Ortho examinations of the Bombay University in April 1989 and was also adjudged Best Resident in Orthopaedics.
