Dr Vivek Sharma

About

Dr Vivek Sharma graduated as a Doctor from the beautiful city of Simla in Himachal Pradesh in 1989. Subsequently he did his post graduate training in the same place and worked as a Senior Resident for 2 years before deciding to move to UK for higher training. He passed his PLAB exam for UK certification and did his basic training in Newcastle Deanery in UK. He did his primary fellowship before undertaking his higher surgical training in Oxford Deanery. He did his 5 years of higher surgical training before qualifying his final fellowship exam. He has also done 2 master’s degrees from the UK. He moved back to India in 2007 and was appointed as senior Consultant in Orthopaedics at Artemis Health Institute, Gurgaon. He then worked as an Associate Director & Unit Head in Medanta Bone & Joint Institute, Medanta – The Medicity Hospital, prior to this appointment.
