Dr Jayanta Dasgupta is a highly reputed and veteran Gastroenterologist practicing in Kolkata. He is actively involved in the speciality of Gastroenterology at the School of Digestive and Liver Disease, IPGME&R and SSKM Hospital for the last 20 years.I do participate in teaching MD and DM students relating to various gastrointestinal, liver and pancreatic disorder I do and teach routine and difficult Endoscopic procedures both diagnostic and therapeutic to DM students I am the guide of the DM Dessertation since 2004 and examiner of DM Final examination for the last 3years. Ongoing research activity - Patient posture and ileal intubation during colonoscopy (a randomized controlled open label trial) Short course therapy of Anti-Tubercular drugs in GI Tuberculosis.
