Prof. Dr Satinath Mukhopadhyay is a veteran and highly qualified endocrinologist practicing in Kolkata . He is a Professor at the Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (IPGMER) in Kolkata. He has been associated with this institution since the mid-nineties, when he studied and trained for the postdoctoral DM superspeciality degree and specialised in Endocrinology. Prior to his current designation as Professor Dr Mukhopadhyay has held the titles of Lecturer, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at IPGMER, for various periods since July 1999. Dr Mukhopadhyay has been involved in many research studies, surveys and clinical trials over the years, and some of these projects are still in progress. Many of the studies culminated in research papers that Dr Mukhopadhyay authored or collaborated in writing, and these and other articles of his have been published in prominent peer-reviewed, indexed journals.
