Dr Nawaid Ahmed did his schooling from Pune and was a meritorious student all throughout. He graduated in 2003 from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Sawangi (Meghe), Wardha and did his post graduation in orthopaedics from Jaslok Hospital & Research Center in Mumbai. He was one of the few who went to Melbourne, Australia on a sponsored fellowship program. He was trained in arthroscopy and shoulder, knee and elbow surgery under the able guidance of Dr Minoo Patel & Dr Martin Richardson. This period allowed him to understand the intricacies of sports medicine as he dealt with many Australian football players. After coming back from Australia with rich experience & high-level expertise in Knee and Shoulder surgery, he is a practicing Orthopaedic Surgeon with special interest in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy at Nagpur. He visits all the districts of Vidharbha region, & some parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh & Andhra Pradesh for Knee & Shoulder arthroscopy.
