He is on the International Advisory Board of International Journal of Radiation Oncology Biology & Physics (Red Journal) published by the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) and is also an on the panel of International Experts appointed by International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Vienna. He is also the President of Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI): 2010-2012. Presently Dr Hukku is the Chairman of Roentgen-BLK Radiation Oncology Centre at BLK Superspeciality Hospital, New Delhi. Earlier he held faculty positions at The Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute, Ahmedabad, Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute, New Delhi, and Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi. Dr Hukku has been trained at the prestigious hospitals around the world viz. Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York; New York Memorial Hospital of Queens, New York; MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston; Charite University, Berlin; Nagoya University Hospital, Nagoya, and Cookridge Hospital, Leeds. He is also a recipient of British Council, International Union Against Cancer, Japan International Cooperation, and Nargis Dutt fellowships during his career.
